Clean the Environment!

The lesson that I can learnt from the article about how to clean the environment are :
  • Don’t throw trash
  • Don’t throw it into the street, into the woods, into the rivers, into the seas that may caused water pollution .
  • Sort your trash
In the Clean World everything used is sorted and that’s how we reduce trash. It is   one of the best ways to re-use resources
  • Don’t burn trash!
Burning trash seems an easy option. However, when you burn trash, it returns many toxins to the environment.
  • Compost food leftovers
Food leftovers should not be thrown away in the river or anywhere , but composted
  • Avoid using disposable products that generate trash

How to Save the Electricity

The tips how to save the electricity in our home are :
·        Turn geyser temperature down to 60o Celsius
·        Use less hot water
For example shower instead of bath, and take shorter showers. Only fill the kettle as much as you need it. Wash a full load of dishes, rather than one dish at a time. Use cold water where possible for laundry washing.
·        Switch off equipment when not in use
Turn appliances off at the wall plug, rather than leaving them on standby as this can still draw about 20% or more of normal electricity use. (Examples are TVs, music systems, computers, phone chargers etc.) Also turn the geyser off when you go on holiday.
·        Reduce pool pump operating hours
If you have a pool with a cleaning system pump, reduce its operating hours to the minimum such as 6 hours a day. Clean filters regularly, and consider a pool cover and turning off the pump at times in winter.
·        Reduce excessive heating or cooling
 So , we can use the tips above to save the electricity in our home.

The Handsome Doctor

The story is about a handsome doctor named Dr. Foster that wanted to go to the Gloucester to do his work . It had been raining since in the morning and had not stopped . But he still went there nonetheless .

Once he finished his work , he set off home immediately , but it still raining heavily that caused the road wet and slippery . Dr. Foster walked immediately without thinking what will happen anymore . Suddenly , he stepped into a puddle full of water and sank up to his waist .He was scared and wet all over his smart cloth that he wearing . He was so frustrated with his bad luck that he promised never to go to the Gloucester again although he want to work .

The moral that I can get from the story is we should be careful of where we are going to avoid any accident .

A Wise Old Owl

The story is about an old owl that lived in an oak . Everyday he saw incidents happening around him . Yesterday he saw a boy helping an old man to carry a heavy basket . Today he saw a girl shouting to her mother . The more he saw , the less he spoke .

 As he spoke less , he heard more . He heard people talking and telling stories . He heard a woman saying that and elephant jumped over a fence . He also heard that a man saying that he never made a mistake .The old owl had seen and heard what happened to the people . Some became better and some became worse . But the old owl had become wiser each and every day .

 The moral that I learnt from the story is we should be observant , talk less but listen more . This will make us a wise person.
